A rare Victorian goblet

A rare Victorian goblet, with a plain hemispherical bowl decorated with a calyx of feathers on a trumpet shaped pedestal with a flange foot, decorated with champlere enamel motifs in black, blue, red and green, the bowl interior set with an enamelled boss with a character figure and the monogram "HC" (for H. Curzon), the bowl with an upper frieze of Lombardic Script "To H. Curzon Esq. In recognition of his services to the Arts Club 1878", by Jess Barkentin, London 1877, 4.4in (11cm) diameter, 3.7in (9.2cm) high, 9oz.
