A Scandinavian hovedvansaeg, of vase form with parcel gilding a hinged base and cover and a bud finial, maker's mark only "KN" struck twice, unascribed, probably Danish/Norwegian early 19th century, together with a 19th century Dutch miniature bell in the form of a lady in a crinoline dress, (lacking clacker) the hovedvansaeg 3in (7.5cm) high, 2oz.
