A Victorian Royal presentation silver tazza

A Victorian Royal presentation silver tazza, by Joseph Harper, London 1884, circular tapering form, pierced decoration, embossed scroll and lobed decoration, foliate scroll border, on a raised pierced and lobed circular foot, engraved with a crest and the crowned cipher V.I.R, and dated 'Xmas 1898', diameter 33.3cm, height 21.2cm, approx. weight 37oz. The crest and motto are for Reid above the Royal cipher. This was presented by Queen Victorian to her physician-in-ordinary, Sir James Reid, Bt, MD, FRCP.
