A Victorian presentation silver ewer, by George Angell, London 1865, tapering circular form, double scroll handle, engraved foliate scroll decoration, applied with two oval plaques of two cherubs with bunches of grapes, and with a central cartouche with traces of a date, (cartouche upside down), on a raised circular foot, inscribed, ' Messrs. Elkington and Co prize, to the Natl Rifle Association Wimbledon.' height 25.9cm, approx. weight 26oz.
