A Scottish silver freedom casket

A Scottish silver freedom casket, Glasgow 1928, retailed by Whytock and Sons, Dundee, tapering rectangular form, the sides chased with panels of architectural scenes and thistles, cedar lined, Celtic border, the hinged cover mounted with the arms of Dundee and inscribed 'Presented by The City of Dundee to The Right Honourable Sir John Gilmour Bart, D.S.O , LL.D, Secretary of State for Scotland with its Freedom 10th Oct, 1928, length 33cm, in a fitted presentation crest.
