A late-Victorian silver and enamel presentation cigarette case, by John Bankes, London 1896, rectangular form, the hinged cover enamelled with a dog's torso, the reverse engraved with the initials and crest of Arundell Neare, gilded interior inscribed 'presented to Arundell Neare by the household of Llysdulas and wellwishers July 2nd 1896', length 9.2cm, in the original fitted case.
