A early 19th century Irish presentation silver snuff box, by Aneas Ryan, Dublin circa 1805, pointed oval form, the hinged cover has been poorly erased but is possibly the crest and motto of the 4th Derry Batalion of Militia, with the crest of a lying deer, initials WM and a military bugle, length 7.5cm, approx. weight 2.2oz.
