Royal interest, an Edwardian presentation silver mounted horn beaker, by James Dixon and Sons, Sheffield 1906, tapering circular form, the mount inscribed 'Presented by Field Marshall H.R.H The Duke of Connaught', and applied with a shield cartouche inscribed, 'Pte. F.G. King, D,Co,', split to horn, height 13.8cm, together with five original photographs of Sgt. King, and an original programme from the 6th Battn. Hampshire Regiment Miniature Rifle Club, Bohemian Concert, April 2nd 1914, where he is listed as winning the Lee cup. (7) Arthur William Patrick Albert, Duke of Connaught (1850-1942) was the third son of Queen Victoria. He was appointed Field Marshall in 1902 by his brother King Edward VII
