An early 20th century Austro-Hungarian cigarette case, enamelled on the cover with the printed rules of a card game* on a yellow ground, the gilt interior inscribed 'from Cranmer xmas 1907', also containing Cranmers calling card, by Georg Adam Scheid, Vienna c.1907, fitted case.¦¦*Probably a form of Bridge or Russian whist.
