A George II Irish silver salver,
by Matthew West, Dublin 1736,
circular form, the moulded border with masks, shells and scroll motifs, the centre engraved with an armorial, on four heavy scroll and pad feet, scratch weight to underside 74=10, diameter 39.2cm, approx. weight 72oz.

The arms are those of CARR of Dublin impaling GIFFARD quartering (?) REDMOND
