fig-shaped bowl, the reverse of the bowl inscribed '1365-1965', 'G.W.I', the stem inscribed 'If you love me- keep me ever, that's my desire- and your endeavour', length 18.8cm, approx. weight 2.9oz.
This spoon is a replica of the spoon which Humphrey Bowen gave to the Mystery of Founders of The City of London in 1625. It was given to mark the 600th anniversary of the granting of Ordinances in 1365.
