By Alwyn Carr, an Arts and Crafts silver three-handled cup and cover,
London 1921,
the circular bellied body spot-hammered and with chased foliate and fruit decoration, with three scroll handles mounted with three bunches of grapes, on a knopped stem with wire-work mounts, on a raised circular foot with a pierced and cast border of Tudor roses, shamrock and thistles, the pull-off cover with a female finial holding a tray of fruit, with a beaded fruit border, and with a cast pediment with galleons and birds and rising sun motifs, gilded interior, height 34.5cm, approx. weight 39.7oz.
