A George III silver snuff box,
by Frederick Hentsche, London 1819,
oblong oval section, with foliate scroll decoration, the hinged cover with a shell thumb-piece and with a glazed white portrait of William Shakespeare in profile, in a gold frame, the underside with initials, length 8.5cm, approx. weight 3.8oz.
