A mid 18th century Irish silver snuff box
A mid 18th century Irish silver snuff box,
maker's mark only, that of Benjamin Stokes, Dublin circa 1750,
tear form, the hinged cover engraved with an armorial within Rococo mantling, the underside of the base engraved 'Mary Hooker Dole', length 8.3cm, approx. weight 2.5oz.
