An Austrian silver, enamel and mother-of-pearl snuff box,

maker's mark of S.G, Vienna, circa 1900,

oval form, the hinged cover set with a mother-of-pearl panel and applied with an enamelled hunter kneeling before a stag, with a cross in its antlers, and with a dog by his side, the sides and base with engraved foliate scroll decoration, length 9.2cm.
