oval form, the flush-hinged cover with an engraved border and hinged finial, the body with engraved foliate decoration, with a lock and crest, the underside of the base inscribed 'Service over rated, 1777', length 11.8cm, approx. weight 10.9oz.

Provenance: with an old card label from The Wyler Collection. (S. Wyler, New York).
