    We are thrilled to present our spring two-day Silver, Gold & Objects of Vertu sale taking place on the 28th & 29th of April.

    Day one of the Fine sale features a range of wonderful collections starting with A Private Collection of Stamp Boxes, Postage & Desk Accessories Lots 13-41 to include A rare Edwardian novelty silver-gilt timepiece and desk compendium. Then The Graham Hamilton Andrews Collection of Wine Labels, Lots 66 to 92. That has a pair of George III silver wine labels, by Hester Bateman.

    Also included in day one is A Private Collection of Contemporary Silver by Hiroshi Suzuki, Takeshi Igawa, Miriam Hanid, Ian Calvert and Jane Short, Lots 169- 175.

    Elsewhere in the auction, there is A Private Collection of Early Spoons, Lots 197- 205, and A Private Collection of Silver and Objects of Vertu, Lots 223- 235.

    The standout items of this day are an Important Collection of Early Silver Lots 302-313, which includes A rare James I silver sugar or spice box, A rare Queen Anne Scottish silver quaich, by Robert Inglis, Edinburgh 1713, assay master Edward Penman and A rare Charles II silver skillet and cover, by Francis Leake, London 1665.
