A small seal top spoon,
unmarked, probably 16th century,
with a row of incised circles around the terminal, scratched on top with the later initials "ES", showing traces of corrosion and an encrusted patination build up, length 14.3cm, 1oz.
*This spoon was excavated by a mudlark from the River Thames at Queenhithe Dock in 1979.
