A Victorian silver novelty horseshoe vinaigrette, possibly by The Smith Brothers, Birmingham 1885, the hinged horseshoe cover opens to reveal a silver-gilt pierced foliate grille, with a loop attachment, and with traces of gilding, length 4cm, approx. weight 0.8oz.
