A Victorian Scottish novelty silver purse, marked only with a registration lozenge for 12th June 1857, modelled as a sporran, hinged cover with a slide clasp, with six carved yellow glass tassels, and mounted with a thistle, with a carrying chain with a finger ring, length 8.2cm, approx. weight 2oz.
