Included in the 28th October silver were a private collection of nutmeg graters, items of vertu, a small collection of wine labels, flatware including provincial spoons, antique and modern silver. The highlight of the sale was lot 646, a Charles II silver Chinoiserie two-handled porringer, by Benjamin Pyne, London, 1683, which sold for £16,000.
