plain urn form, gilded bowl, on a raised circular foot, inscribed and with a later inscription, 'To the Officers Mess Fort Blockhouse in memory of 'Lieut. P. Ponsonby, R.N, Commanding H. M. Submarine L4 died at Hong Kong, July 1922', 12.2cm, approx. weight 6oz.
