book form, engine-turned decoration, the hinged cover opened to reveal a silver-gilt grille, pierced and engraved with an urn and foliate scroll decoration, and engraved 2nd Feb 1833, the hinged cover inscribed 'D to C', length 3.3cm, approx. weight 0.4oz.
