An early 19th century Russian silver snuff box,
maker's mark unidentified, assay master Nikolay Dubrovin, Moscow circa 1820,
modelled as a recumbent pug dog, with later red eyes, the hinged base with fluted decoration, length 7cm, approx. weight 1.4oz.
