An Edwardian silver Arts and Crafts rose bowl, of tapering circular form, embossed with trailing roses, spot hammered decoration, embossed 'FLOWERS ARE THE PLAYTHINGS FAIR LEFT BY ANGELS LONG AGO', also engraved 'W.H.H April 28 1905', the whole on three bracket feet, by Omar Ramsden and Alywn Carr, London 1904, stamped to base 'Designed and made by Ramsden & Carr London', diameter 17.8cm., height 11cm., approx. weight 20 oz.
