A silver-gilt presentation standing cup and cover, embossed foliate scroll decoration, on a baluster stem with scroll supports, on a raised circular foot, the pull off cover with matching decoration and with a finial modelled as a standing warrior holding a spear and shield, engraved, 'The Queen's Surrey Cup' and ' Presented By Lt. Col. J.R.Longley in 1912 After Many Happy Years In The Battalion From 2nd.Lieut. To Lieut. Colonel', also engraved with the regimental badge, by Carrington and Co., London 1912, Height 60.5cm., approx. weight 72oz.
