A Charles II tentatively ascribed apostle spoon, the gilt figure with a large plain nimbus pricked "I C" over "1676" over "P S" on a tapering stem struck once in the bowl with a small incuse heart and twice on the back of the stem with a chalice in a heart with four mullets, probably by Christopher Robert, Bridgewater circa 1676, 7.25in (18.5cm) 1.5oz
