A continental heavy silver seal box

A continental heavy silver seal box, containing the wax impression of the seal of the King Ferdinand I University at Cluj, Rounmania, the screw lid with incised decorative band, 88mm. Founded in 1581, the university has undergone many name changes and is now named Babes-Bolyai University, however after the end of the First World War it took the name of King Ferdinand I (1865-1914-1927), and was re-opened on the 1st Februaury 1920, from when this seal-box would date.
