A rare early Victorian cast silvergilt toilet mirror, the small oval 'glass'* in an openwork swing frame of a symmetrical, volute, scrolls, adorned with garlands of flowers, three scroll legs by Joseph Angell, London 1843, 7.9in (20cm) high, 6oz gross. *This must have had a specific purpose with its particular height and small glass, perhaps for applying patches.
