A 20th century Continental gold box, with engine turned base and sides, the two-colour cover with a raised border and an inset trelliswork 'mesh' panel, the interior engraved with a padlock and the date '1929', stamped '585', probably Austrian, c.1929, 3in (7.6cm) long, 3oz.
