An 18th century Italian silver-mounted Jewish prayer book,
maker's mark of a foliate motif, Rome,
rectangular form, with pierced and chased foliate scroll decoration, beaded borders, one side with the initials 'B' and 'R' with a rampant lion between, the other side with 'S' 'I' with a rampant lion between and over 'R', the interior with a prayer book, the final page inscribed 'Nella stampar. Bragadina con licenza de superiori', length 11.2cm.
