A George III Irish silver nutmeg grater
A George III Irish silver nutmeg grater,
possibly by Daniel Mason, Dublin circa 1810,
oval form, hinged cover and base, the hinged cover with a crest, the interior with a steel grater, the underside of the base scratch initialled 'M.G', length 4.3cm, approx. weight 1oz.
The crest is that of Gambier, Garshore, Gasselyn, Gilbert, Glascott and Godfrey.
