A pair of George III silver salt cellars,

maker's mark of RE over-stamping another, possibly that of Hester Bateman, London 1787,

in the early 18th century manner, circular bowls, on raised circular bases with cut-card Acanthus leaf decoration, engraved with a crest, diameter 8.8cm, approx. weight 13.5oz. (2)

The crest is that of Adderbury, Clemsby, Devereux, Hoblyn and other families.
