A George III old Sheffield plated egg warmer,
unmarked, circa 1800,
oval form, scroll handles, the base of the handles with hinged covers to the water compartment, the pull-off cover with an acorn finial, the interior with a pull-out two egg holder, engraved with a lozenge, on an oval foot, length handle to handle 27.3cm.
