Five George III poultry skewers: a set of four with small 'eye' terminals, initialled, by W. Eley & W. Fearn, London 1817/18, and a broader example by Thomas Ollivant*, London 1794, the latter 5.75in (14.5cm) long, 1.25oz. (5) *Thomas Ollivant's mark in this case may or may not be overstriking another but in any event he was working in Manchester.
