A 19th century French electrotype basin,
engraved Maison Vallee, 174 Rue de Rivoli, Paris,
circular form, with scenes of the siege of Tunis during the reign of the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V, from the original in the Louvre, Paris, (inventory number S827), the reverse with a presentation inscription and dated 1877, diameter 63.5cm.

A similar electrotype basin is in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London. (accession number REPRO.1857A/1-15)
