An Edwardian silver novelty inkstand,
by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co., London 1923,
in the form of a pillar box with an applied crown and 'GR', the hinged front reveals an interior inkwell with a pen rest to the front of the pillar box, on a square base with four bracket feet, height 17.4cm, approx. weight 12.4oz.
