A James I spoon, with a gilt seal, pricked E.V over R.H and scratched MB on the back of the bowl, struck once in the bowl with a mullet within a pelleted circle, c.1610, 6.45In (16.3cm). See Jackson's Revised, p.526 for a similar mark as seen on a seal top spoon
