A James I spoon, with a gilt seal, pricked '1620' over 'RG' over 'TW', struck once in the bowl with maker's mark RC [conjoined], within a Tudor rose, c.1620, 6.45in (16.3cm). See Jackson's Revised, p.518 for this mark as seen on a seal top spoon, c.1600
