Salisbury: A Charles II spoon, the gilt figure lacking emblems with a large polyfoil nimbus, pricked R.W over 1673 over I.G, struck once in the bowl with maker's mark T and mis-struck twice on the stem with a variation of the maker's mark TT of Thomas Thornburgh, c.1673, 7.7in (19.5cm). As a point of interest, Thomas Thornburgh was buried in St Thomas's church, Salisbury on the 24th November 1673
