A rare Commonwealth porringer and cover, with two cast caryatid handles and a plain rim foot, the body and cover embossed with varying individual flowers, separated by a stiff leaf, the finial of spool form to serve as a foot, maker's mark TG in a dotted circle with pellets, London 1659, 6.5in (16.5cm) high, diameter of bowl 6.5in (16.5cm), 34oz.
