A Victorian silver entree dish and cover,
by Robert Garrard, London 1864,
circular form, gadroon border, the pull-off cover with a detachable vine handle, applied with four plaques depicting the arts and sciences, and with a chased trailing grapevine border, engraved with a crest, diameter 27.5cm, approx. weight 58oz.
The crest is that of Fenwick, originally of Northumberland.
