A George III provincial silver wine label, struck twice with maker's mark ST, possibly for Chester circa 1790, tentatively attributed to Stephen Tillinghast of Liverpool, scroll form, bright-cut border, incised 'BRANDY', length 4.7cm. For maker's mark see Jacksons, Ian Pickford Edition, Antique Collector's Club, 1989 page 401, and Chester Gold and Silver Marks, Ridgeway and Priestley, Antique Collector's Club, 2004 page 400.
