An 18th century Scottish silver mounted ivory and hardwood snuff mull

An 18th century Scottish silver mounted ivory and hardwood snuff mull, unmarked, circa 1740, upright waisted form, decorated with alternating strips, the body with a later silver band, the hinged cover set with an oval silver plaque engraved with two shaking hands and initialled 'G.F'. height 5.3cm.
