A Charles I West Country seal top spoon, with traces of gilding and the pricked stem inscription "My child if thou beginning? gave thee that say this, the passon? wyn the fortunat?", the back of the bowl pricked "MC" over "1630, crowned 'x' mark in the bowl, Exeter c.1630, 7.1in (18cm) long, 1.4oz.
