An extremely rare William III Scottish provincial, steel knife, fork and smaller knife with mounted tortoiseshell cannon handles with corded wire inlay, the blades with cutler's marks [a 'B' below a scimitar), the end caps with maker's mark "DB" [in a heart shaped punch] for David Biggar or Biggart, Kilmaurs c.1700 (in a fitted case). The larger knife 8.25in (21cm).
