A Charles I ascribed West Country Buddha knop spoon, with a gilt finial, with an engraved fleur de lys on the back of the stem below the finial and pricked "1640" over "WK" over "GM" on the back of the bowl, maker's mark at the back of the stem, fruitlet mark in the bowl, by Richard Chandler, Plymouth c.1640, 7.5in (19.1cm), 1.4oz.
