Grants of Arms, 19th century seal of the Garter King of Arms, vermilion wax, in brass protective skippet, this with coronet on cover, 70mm; others (2), Walter Aston Blount, Norroy King of Arms (1859-1882), and Robert Laurie, Clarenceaux King of Arms (1859-1882), in similar skippets. Attractive and in good order. (3) The first probably issued by Sir Charles George Young (1842-1869), or his successor Sir Albert William Woods (1869-1904). Blount was to succeed Laurie at Clarenceaux King of Arms and served in the post till 1894.
