A small, 19th century continental red leather sewing box on four brass paw feet containing the following: a leather pin/needle wallet, an ivory and mother of pearl waxer, a bobbin, a mother of pearl winder, and the remaining with chased mounts; two thimbles, a tape measure, a "pail" shaped pin cushion, a mounted steel penknife, a needle case, a pair of scissors with sheath, a piercer and a pair of tweezers, the box 5.5in (14cm) wide.
