rectangular form, with engine-turned and chased foliate, shell and scroll decoration, the sides with roses, thistles and shamrock, hinged cover, engraved with a crest, the reverse inscribed 'Gift of a Friend', with a chain attachment, in a later fitted case, length 9.1cm, approx. weight 2.9oz.
Provenance: A Private Collection.
Purchased from Woolley and Wallis, Salisbury, 4 June 1997, lot 336.
The crest is that of Forrester.
